The success of tomorrow lies on the foundation of the decision taken today. In our constant endeavour, we believe in putting in efforts to inculcate decision-making capabilities in our graduates aspiring to become leaders for tomorrow. The difference between a decision and the most appropriate decision is whether the decision is based on a hunch or the information. A decision based on information is the most appropriate – informed decision. Informed decisions are based on relevant information available through scientific tools and analysis based on data, observation, and academic learning. One of the significant sets of information is information related to the know-how of the daily environment in which we operate. This gave birth to our idea of running a program of CAP – current affairs preparedness. We run this as weekly quizzes, where students must read influential dailies and magazines to come prepared to be evaluated. Every student is considered, and scores are shared, which enables them to identify their areas of improvement and prepare them to be aware of management graduates to make informed decisions.
