FACULTY PROJECT

At SIBM Nagpur, faculty members actively participate in research initiatives and projects to explore and investigate and innovate within specific fields of study. Dr. Shailesh Rastogi is providing mentorship and opportunities for collaboration to the faculty members of SIBM Nagpur. Dr. Rastogi is currently working with Dr. Palaniappan, Dr. Pallavi Sangode, Dr. Rajesh Vaidya, Dr. Vinod, and Dr. Ganesh Rede, on various topics spanning Convergence:Gender-Responsive Climate Finance, Conservation, Food, and Health and similar other topics.Dr. Shailesh Rastogi has extensive experience working on numerous projects in the past.

Here’s a summary of Dr. Rastogi’s prior completed projects:

• Project is being executed on ‘Financial Inclusion: PMJDYA and its benefits to the poor in the state of Maharashtra’ sponsored by SIU, Pune. The project is expected to bring the assessment of the initiatives by GOI for the inclusive growth of underprivileged people in Maharashtra. The duration of the project is one year from April-2019-March 2020 (Completed; 1.5 Lacs) .
• Project completed on ‘Market Survey and Promotion for Velammal Health Services in Selected Districts of Tamil Nadu’ for Velammal Medical College Hospital & Research Institute (VMCH&RI), Madurai. The project started in  February 2017  and was completed in  May 2017  within the stipulated timeframe. The project is sponsored by Velammal Hospital, Madurai. In this project, six nearby districts are to be surveyed, and a report is to be submitted for bridging the gap and providing long-term solutions to sustainable growth in the future for the Hospital (Completed, Rs. 7.53 Lacs).
• Project entitled “A Study of Investment Buying Behaviour of Equity Market Versus Non-Equity Market: Select Study in Southern region of India” has been completed. The project was sponsored by Thiagarajar School of Management, Madurai. (Completed; Rs 26,000).
• Project completed on Capacity Development and Investment Program Management sponsored by RUIDP, Government of Rajasthan. The project was Rs16.28 lac. The project was a landmark achievement for Jaipuria Jaipur under the stewardship of then-Director Dr Subhas Datta from MDI Gurgaon. The project was of 12 months, covering 15 towns of Rajasthan. The project commenced from August 2009 to July 2010. The project was the making of CDP (Capacity Development Plans) for ULBs (Urban Local Bodies) of the 15 towns of Rajasthan. The ULBs included in the study were Municipality, PHED (Water), Electricity, Roads, Health and Education. A study on the present status of ULBs in these towns was done, gaps were identified, and solutions were given on how to fill the gaps (Completed; 16.80 Lacs).
• A sponsored research project on readers’ market survey sponsored by DNA News Paper was completed successfully along with Dr Swati. The project was done in three phases. The survey was of the newspaper readers in Jaipur on the Satisfaction of Readers with DNA. The help from students was also to complete the project. It was done during Oct-Dec, 2008. (Completed)
• Organized a Training Program along with Dr Deepak Sharma for J K Sugar Ltd, Meerganj, Bareilly, on Cost Effectiveness for Top & Middle Management for 140 hours in 2005. This program was delivered 6 hours every week at the site of the company. The program was appreciated a lot for its effectiveness (Completed).
