On March 7th, 2024, in celebration of International Women’s Day, a Management Development Program (MDP) was organized by SIBM (Symbiosis Institute of Business Management), Nagpur, exclusively for the families of Powergrid, Nagpur employees. The event aimed to empower and inspire women through sessions focusing on Team-building, Self-motivation, Women Empowerment, and Inspiring Inclusion. The program also included engaging fun activities to foster a sense of camaraderie and enjoyment. The event saw active participation, with a total of 65 attendees, comprising the families of Powergrid, Nagpur employees.

An MDP with a focus on Self-improvement for the employees of IOCL was organised by SIBM, Nagpur. The program’s main objective was to develop a broad spectrum of skills vital for both personal growth and career advancement through self-discovery, leadership skills, team building and strategic thinking to empower individuals and drive business success, thereby facilitating their overall progress and success within the organization.

An MDP with a focus on “Personal Effectiveness” for the employees of Power grid was organised. The session included 26 employees. The program’s main goal was to help people build a wide range of skills that are important for both personal and professional growth. The participants were shown how to be more effective, which helped them grow and succeed in the group.

A training session for the top level as well as the middle level managers of MECL was organized at the organizations Training Centre in Nagpur. There were 26 participants from the region.
This training program aimed at discussing the new labour codes proposed by the government. This session was conducted for the top level as well as the middle level HR dept. employees of Power grid. It is aimed mainly at making them aware of the New Labour codes and help them implement it smoothly in future.

An interactive discussion session for the women employees of Powergrid was conducted to find out the issues and challenges they face at workplace. There were 40 participants from the region on 31st March and 30 participants on 2nd April 2022 who were the male bosses of the lady employees. We discussed the issues and challenges and remedies were found out to those challenges. They also appreciated the dedication of women with which they contribute to work.
This training program aimed at finding out the various issues and challenges women face at office as well as on site. As Powergrid is mainly into electricity distribution, their sites are more at remote locations. Being a women oriented organization they promote wellness for the women and their family members. They provide various benefits to women employees from child care policy to housing facility to recreational facility.
